New Zealand Daylight Time is thirteen hours ahead of the Coordinated Universal Time standard, written as an offset of UTC + 13:00. That means to find the standard time in the zone you must add thirteen hours to Coordinated Universal Time.
Territories observing the time zone are primarily in the Pacific. It runs through New Zealand, and is also used in a couple Antarctic research stations.
During fall to winter months New Zealand Standard Time or NZST is used, and then during Daylight Saving (spring to summer months) New Zealand Daylight Time or NZDT is used.
